Ramsey+ & Financial Peace University at MACC
The Bible has about 500 verses on prayer, about 500 verses on faith and about 2,300 verses on money. That’s why we have invested in a plan for the MACC family called Ramsey+.
How do I get started?
Click the TAKE ME TO RAMSEY+ button. Then follow the three-step, 5-minute process to gain one-year of full access.
How do I take Financial Peace University (FPU)?
After you have activated your Ramsey+ account, register for the FPU class that best fits your schedule by clicking on one of the buttons below. After you click, scroll down to find and click on "Already a Member? Sign in to join." Then sign in and follow the prompts.
Registration for Virtual Class Offerings
Classes on Sundays at 11 a.m.
Classes on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m.
New classes start every nine weeks. So if those listed don’t work, just check back in a few weeks when the new registration links will be posted. If none of the MACC-hosted classes fit your schedule, you can search among hundreds of other class offerings through the "Find a Class" feature in your Ramsey+ membership.
What about cost?
A Ramsey+ membership normally costs $129.99, but the church is asking for a suggested donation of $35. Your donation helps the church cover it's costs and, more importantly, underwrites the cost for those who may struggle to afford $35.

Ramsey+ Stories
Single mom paid off $90K in 6 months.
As we were working through and discussing the natural doubts about Baby Step 2 and gazelle intensity to pay off all non-mortgage debt, a student puts this in the Zoom chat to everyone: "Single mom. Paid off $90,000 in debt in the last 6 months."
I stopped everything and asked if she would share about how she did this. In the wake of a divorce, she sold everything in her house, including the curtains, in an attempt to keep the home but, in the end, she couldn't. So she sold the house and is renting a small apartment for herself, her 15 y.o. son and 8 y.o. daughter. This has freed up $2,500 per month with which she will finish the last $5,000 of debt and then build her full emergency fund of 6 months living expenses. Her 15 year old walks by in the background and she asks him to say "Hi." He does.
I am awash with deep emotion and profound respect. Then (Thank You, Lord!) this comes out of my mouth: "First off, any single parent who is trying to do a good job is absolutely heroic. Full stop. End of sentence. Second: Deep respect for you. You are such an inspiration! Third: To the rest of you on this Zoom screen — she just took away your excuses. Not everyone has a house to sell. But anyone can take bold action to accelerate their progress.”
Couple paid off $45k in 5 months.
My husband and I took your FPU class in July/August of 2021. Last night we paid off our last debt (except our house). We paid $45k off in 5 months.
FPU was transformational. We want to thank you for your encouragement and the wonderful introduction we had into the world of FPU.
During our BS2 journey we emptied and refilled our starter emergency fund twice when we had plumbing issues at our house. Instead of being stressed out about the unexpected costs, we found PEACE when the money was in our starter emergency fund. We continue to follow the steps and not be "ish" about it. We were also blessed to adopt two families at Christmastime.
