Pregnancy Clinic 5k Walk and Run for Life

The 5k Walk and Run for Life is a fun, family-friendly event that raises support for the Pregnancy Clinic Ministry. The Pregnancy Clinic not only provides support for women facing unexpected pregnancies but also shares the love of Jesus, giving them the hope they need to choose life. Runners and walkers alike will enjoy this relaxing trail run at MACC.

The annual Walk and Run features:

  • 5k, timed trail run (strollers are not permitted on the course)

  • Family Life Walk (strollers welcome)

  • Kid's Dash (for ages 5–7)

  • Toddler Trot (4 and under)

  • Great activities for kids, including a bounce house

  • Lots of prizes and giveaways

Financial Wellness Overview

Eight out of 10 Americans live paycheck to paycheck, and the average household debt is $276,000. Also, the number one reason for divorce is fights over money. All of this makes for uncertain futures. Do you want to eliminate debt and build wealth while making the world a better place in the process? On Saturday, September 21, we will be hosting a Financial Wellness Overview from 6:30–8 p.m., with an optional Q&A until 9 p.m. This event is limited to the first 100 people. Enter to win up to $400 in door prizes. Register by September 15 at church or by emailing mecaekstrom@aim.com. A $5 donation is suggested.

FCA Family Breakfast and Fundraiser

Join us for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Family Breakfast and Fundraiser Saturday, August 10, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. This is a great event to attend as a family because children under 5 years old eat free! The cost is $10 per person. Hear about what the Lord is doing through the vessel of FCA. Pastor Tim Webster will be the keynote speaker. Hear testimonies from students, coaches and volunteers on how the FCA has impacted their walk with Christ. The funds raised will go to support FCA staff members, coaches and athletes throughout the Maryland bay area and at sport camps throughout the mid-Atlantic region. There will be a silent auction and raffles for items such as a TV and sports equipment. Enjoy breakfast, fellowship with others from our community and support the efforts of FCA.

Creative Paradox’s Young Artists Workshop is a faith-based workshop that teaches drawing, painting and other art mediums while showing kids that they can impact their world through their faith and creative gifts. This Summer it's time to POWER UP at our annual Kids in Christ Camp! Every night kids will enjoy high energy worship during our openings & closings, large group games, team time, bible time, creation station, snacks, and team building! Our Preschoolers will have just as much fun all morning at their own camp designed just for them! 

Kids will spend 5 days having a blast while learning that God's power gives us everything we need! By the end of the week we want all of our campers to know that:

  • God wants us to know him.

  • We can know God through His word.

  • God sent Jesus to save us.

  • We can help others know God.

Daddy Daughter Dance - Masquerade

Fathers and father figures, join us as we celebrate an evening with our daughters on Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 5-7:30 p.m. at MACC.

A daughter-friendly and daddy-friendly food option will be available. Please list any food allergies during registration. A princess crown will be presented to each daughter in attendance. A photographer will be on site taking pictures that will be sent to the email address listed on your registration.  In addition, we will have a photo booth to capture this special night.  Games and activities will be available throughout the event.  Of course, fun, family-friendly music will be spinning throughout the night. All food, games, prizes, and photos are included with ticket purchase.

Missions Motorcycle Ride

On Saturday, May 4 join us for our first MACC Missions Motorcycle Ride. The purpose of the ride is to raise funds for MACC missions locally and globally. The meet up time is 8:30 a.m. at MACC and we will head out for the ride at 10 a.m. The route will be tailored for riders of all skill levels, keeping mostly to main roads (not interstates) with lights at major route intersections for safety. Riders will be expected to arrive with their bikes in solid mechanical condition, with full fuel tanks, and ready for the day. Also, each rider will be responsible for their own expenses for the day, their own safety gear, and their own insurance. And, of course, each rider will be expected to operate their machine safely throughout the day.
